- You're ready to let WCFM vendors sell meetings
If your WCFM Marketplace vendors teach or coach and want to sell live Zoom sessions, you’re in the right place. This guide shows you how to let them schedule Zoom meetings and sell seats from the WCFM dashboard, step by step.
Each vendor gets a Zoom Events menu in their WCFM dashboard. There they create and manage their own meetings, and in the WCFM product manager they link a meeting to the product that sells it.
By the end of this guide, you will have:
- WooCommerce, WCFM Marketplace, WCFM Frontend Manager, ZooMeet and ZooMeet Pro working together
- Your Zoom account connected to ZooMeet
- The WCFM Marketplace integration turned on
- A vendor meeting created from the WCFM dashboard
- A WCFM product that sells a seat in that meeting
Estimated setup time: 10 minutes. Vendors keep their store, products and orders exactly as they are.
Note: Requires ZooMeet Pro and WooCommerce.
Before you begin #
Make sure you have:
- An administrator account on your WordPress site, such as Emily Clark’s
- At least one approved WCFM vendor
- A Zoom account you can connect to ZooMeet
- A ZooMeet Pro license
Let’s get started.
Step 1: Install WooCommerce and WCFM #
First, make sure WooCommerce and WCFM are installed and activated. WCFM comes as two plugins: WCFM Marketplace runs the marketplace and WCFM Frontend Manager draws the vendor dashboard.
- In the WordPress admin menu, go to Plugins > Add New Plugin.
- Search for WooCommerce.
- Click Install Now, then Activate.

Next, install both WCFM plugins.
- Go to Plugins > Add New Plugin again.
- Search for WCFM Marketplace, then click Install Now and Activate.
- Install and activate WCFM Frontend Manager from the same results.

Step 2: Install and activate ZooMeet #
ZooMeet creates the Zoom meetings. ZooMeet Pro adds the WCFM and WooCommerce integrations on top.
- Go to Plugins > Add New Plugin.
- Search for ZooMeet.
- Click Install Now, then Activate.

To use the Pro features in this guide, add ZooMeet Pro from inside ZooMeet. There is nothing to upload.
- In WordPress admin, open ZooMeet and click Upgrade, then complete the checkout.
- Go to ZooMeet > Account. Your license shows there, and ZooMeet offers to install ZooMeet Pro.
- Install ZooMeet Pro, then activate it.
Step 3: Connect your Zoom account #
Vendor meetings are created on the Zoom account you connect here. If you already did this, skip to Step 4.
- Go to ZooMeet > Settings and click Connect.
- Paste the Account ID, Client ID and Client Secret from your Zoom Server-to-Server OAuth app.
- Save the settings and check that the connection succeeds.
Read our step-by-step Zoom setup guide for the full walkthrough.
Step 4: Turn on the WCFM Marketplace integration #
ZooMeet adds the vendor menu only while both its WCFM switch and the WCFM Marketplace plugin are active. The WooCommerce switch must be on too, because it powers the Event Details tab and the order email.
- Go to ZooMeet > Integrations.
- In Categories, click eCommerce and check that the WooCommerce card reads Active.
- Click Marketplaces and find the WCFM Marketplace card.
- If the card shows Activate WCFM, click it to activate the plugin, then come back.
- Switch the WCFM Marketplace toggle on. The card shows Active.

Now comes the vendor’s part. The next steps happen in the vendor’s WCFM dashboard.
Step 5: Open Zoom Events in the WCFM menu #
ZooMeet adds a Zoom Events group to the WCFM menu of every vendor, right below Customers.
- The vendor signs in and opens their WCFM dashboard (Store Manager).
- In the menu, they click Zoom Events. All Events and Configure sit right below it.

Step 6: Create a meeting as the vendor #
Each product sells a seat in one meeting, so the vendor creates the meeting first. All Events uses the same step-by-step form you use in WordPress admin.
- In Zoom Events, the vendor clicks Add new event. A vendor with no events sees Create new event instead.
- On Name and type, they enter the Meeting name and an Agenda.
- They set Date and time, and optionally Access and controls and Page design.
- They click Create meeting.

Tip: For a paid session, turn on Registration required in Access and controls, so buyers who checked out as guests sign in on the meeting page. Once a product sells the meeting, only buyers get the join details either way. See How to sell Zoom meetings with WooCommerce.
Step 7: Mark the product as virtual #
A meeting has nothing to ship, and WCFM will not save a meeting product until it is virtual.
- In the WCFM menu, the vendor clicks Products, then adds a new product or edits one.
- They keep Simple Product and tick Virtual.
- They enter the product name and Price.

Step 8: Link the meeting to the product (Zoom Event tab) #
Linking a product to a meeting is what turns a sale into a seat.
- Lower on the same page, the vendor clicks the Zoom Event tab.
- They tick Sell a Zoom event with this product.
- In Choose event, they pick their meeting, for example Mindful Mornings: Group Session. The list starts on Select a meeting or webinar, groups the vendor’s own events under Meetings and Webinars, and shows nobody else’s.
- They click Submit.

Once the product is saved, the meeting is linked and its page shows a Buy now button. Choosing another meeting unlinks the old one, and unticking Sell a Zoom event with this product unlinks the meeting.
With Sell a Zoom event with this product ticked, WCFM requires both fields. A missing Virtual shows Is virtual: This field is required. and a missing meeting shows Choose event: pick a meeting or webinar.
Step 9: See it on the product page #
Open the product in a private browser window to check it the way a customer does. Customers buy the meeting like any other product, and an Event Details tab lists the Event Title, Start Time and Time zone.
ZooMeet takes over once the order goes through:
- A customer can buy one seat per meeting product.
- When the order is Completed, ZooMeet adds the buyer’s billing email to the meeting’s list of attendees.
- The completed order email includes Your Event Information, with the sign-in details and a Join Event link.
- In My Account, the buyer finds the meeting under Zoom Events.
Benefits of using ZooMeet with WCFM #
- A menu vendors already open: Zoom Events sits in the WCFM menu, right below Customers.
- Half-linked products cannot be saved: with Sell a Zoom event with this product ticked, WCFM refuses to save until the product is virtual and has a meeting.
- No Zoom setup for vendors: every vendor meeting runs on the Zoom account you connected.
- WCFM commissions as usual: meeting products are normal WooCommerce products, so WCFM pays vendors the usual way.
Your vendors run their live sessions from the same dashboard as the rest of their store.
Troubleshooting #
Vendors do not see a Zoom Events menu #
ZooMeet adds the menu only while the integration and WCFM Marketplace are both active.
Check that:
- The WCFM Marketplace card is on in ZooMeet > Integrations > Marketplaces.
- WCFM Marketplace and WCFM Frontend Manager are both active.
- The user is a WCFM vendor.
Saving a product shows “Is virtual: This field is required.” #
The product has Sell a Zoom event with this product ticked but is not virtual. Tick Virtual and click Submit again.
Saving a product shows “Choose event: pick a meeting or webinar.” #
Sell a Zoom event with this product is ticked but no meeting or webinar is chosen. The vendor creates a meeting in Zoom Events first if they have none, then picks it in Choose event.
Configure says “Settings could not be loaded” #
Configure opens ZooMeet’s settings screen, which only administrators can load. Vendors do not need it: their meetings use your Zoom account and your default settings.
The customer did not get the meeting details #
ZooMeet adds the buyer and adds the details to the email only when the order status is Completed.
Check that:
- The order is Completed in WooCommerce > Orders.
- The product has Sell a Zoom event with this product ticked and a meeting chosen.
Frequently asked questions #
Do I need both WCFM plugins? #
Yes. WCFM Marketplace runs the marketplace and WCFM Frontend Manager draws the vendor dashboard where the Zoom Events menu lives.
Do vendors need their own Zoom account? #
No. With Vendors use their own account off in ZooMeet > Settings > Events, every vendor meeting is created on your connected Zoom account.
Can a vendor see other vendors’ meetings in All Events? #
No. Each vendor sees and edits only the meetings they created.
Can a customer buy two seats in one order? #
No. A meeting product is locked to one per order. Each attendee buys their own seat.
Security best practices #
- Approve vendors before they can sell, so only trusted people create meetings that customers pay for.
- Ask vendors to turn on Registration required for paid meetings, so guest buyers can sign in on the meeting page.
- Choose event lists only the vendor’s own meetings and webinars, so a vendor cannot sell someone else’s session.
- Keep WordPress, WooCommerce, WCFM and ZooMeet up to date.
You’re ready to let WCFM vendors sell meetings #
Your WCFM vendors can now schedule Zoom meetings under Zoom Events and sell each seat as a virtual product. A completed order adds the buyer to the meeting and emails their details. Next, see how the other marketplaces and WooCommerce selling work.
