Last Updated: July 27, 2026 | Developer: Sovlix | [email protected]
Welcome to DriveHub! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the DriveHub WordPress plugin ("Plugin") and its Google OAuth service, developed by Sovlix. By installing, activating, or using the Plugin or service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Description of DriveHub
DriveHub is a Google OAuth application and WordPress plugin developed by Sovlix that allows WordPress websites to connect to Google Drive. It enables WordPress site administrators to browse, display, upload, and embed Google Drive files on their WordPress websites.
2. Google Terms of Service
By using DriveHub to interact with Google Drive, you also agree to be bound by the Google Terms of Service and the Google APIs Terms of Service. This includes any use of Google Drive API services through our plugin.
3. User Data and Privacy
We collect and store Google account data including OAuth access tokens, refresh tokens, and your Google account email address, as necessary to provide the Google Drive integration features. For details on how we handle your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
4. Google Account Authorization
By authorizing DriveHub to access your Google account, you agree that:
- DriveHub will store OAuth tokens in your WordPress database to maintain the Google Drive connection.
- DriveHub requests the full
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drivescope, which permits it to see, edit, create, and delete all files in the connected Google Drive account. - Folder selections in DriveHub control which folders its configured modules display or use; they do not reduce the account-level OAuth permission granted by Google.
- DriveHub will use OAuth tokens solely to provide its user-facing Google Drive browsing, display, upload, embed, and file-management features.
- Access is limited to Google Drive only - DriveHub does not access Gmail, Google Calendar, or any other Google service.
You can revoke DriveHub's access to your Google account at any time via myaccount.google.com/permissions or from the DriveHub settings page.
5. Permitted Use
You may install and use DriveHub on WordPress websites you own or administer. You may not:
- Use DriveHub to circumvent Google's API usage policies or rate limits.
- Use DriveHub to upload illegal, harmful, or infringing content to Google Drive.
- Resell or redistribute DriveHub premium licenses without authorization from Sovlix.
6. Premium Licenses
Premium versions of DriveHub are sold through Freemius, a third-party licensing and payments platform. Premium license purchases are subject to Freemius Terms of Service. We offer refunds in accordance with the refund policy stated on the DriveHub product page.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
DriveHub is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Sovlix does not warrant that the Plugin will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every WordPress environment. Sovlix is not responsible for data loss or issues caused by changes to Google's API or terms.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sovlix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of DriveHub, including but not limited to loss of data or disruption to your Google Drive. Sovlix's total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for any premium license in the preceding twelve months.
