Frequently asked questions
What is DriveHub?
DriveHub is a WordPress plugin that connects your site to Google Drive. You can browse, display, embed and collect Drive files anywhere on your site, as galleries, file lists, media embeds or upload forms, with private folders and role-based access built in.
Do I need a Google API key?
No. DriveHub ships with a built-in OAuth flow, so you connect your Drive account in one click. There is no Google Cloud project to create and no API credentials to wire up.
Does DriveHub store my files on my server?
No. Your files stay in Google Drive. DriveHub reads and streams file data only when it needs to render or download. Nothing is permanently copied to your hosting.
Can visitors upload files to Google Drive from my website?
Yes. Add a front-end upload module and choose the destination Drive folder. Logged-in users or public visitors can upload straight into your Google Drive without entering the WordPress dashboard, and the files never touch your web server.
Is there a free version?
Yes. You can install DriveHub Free from WordPress.org and upgrade when you need the Pro workflow, scale and support. There are no paywalls or seat limits on the free core.
What is the difference between the plans?
Every DriveHub Pro license unlocks the same toolkit. Plans differ only by how many WordPress sites you can activate: 1, 3, 10 or 50. The 10-site and 50-site plans also include white labeling. Each plan is available annually or as a one-time lifetime purchase.
