# How to Let WCFM Marketplace Vendors Sell Google Meet Meetings

On a WCFM Marketplace store, a vendor who teaches or coaches needs somewhere to schedule live sessions and sell the seats. GoodMeet adds that to the WCFM vendor dashboard. Setup takes two WCFM plugins, so the first step covers both.

Each vendor gets a **Google Meeting** area in their WCFM dashboard. There they create and manage their own Google Meet meetings, and they can sell a seat in a meeting as a product.

By the end of this guide, you will have:

- WooCommerce, WCFM Marketplace, WCFM Frontend Manager, GoodMeet and GoodMeet Pro installed and activated
- Your Google account connected to GoodMeet
- The WCFM Marketplace integration turned on
- A decision on whether vendors use your Google calendar or their own
- A vendor meeting linked to a product that customers can buy

**Estimated setup time:** 10 minutes. Vendors keep their store, products and orders exactly as they are.

**Important: whose Google account do vendors use?** It depends on one switch, **Vendors use their own calendar**, in **GoodMeet** > **Settings** > **Meetings** > **Calendar**.

- **Off (default):** vendors do not see any Google settings. Every vendor meeting is created with the Google account the administrator connected, and appears in that calendar.
- **On:** vendors get a **Configure** page under **Google Meeting** in their dashboard. Each vendor connects their own Google account there, and their meetings go to their own Google Calendar. Until a vendor connects, they cannot create meetings.

**Note:** Requires GoodMeet Pro. The WCFM and WooCommerce integrations are Pro features.

## Before you begin

Make sure you have:

- A WordPress site, such as Brightpath Academy at brightpath.example.com
- An administrator account, such as Emily Clark's
- At least one approved WCFM vendor
- The Google account your site's meetings should belong to
- A GoodMeet Pro license, for the Pro features in this guide

Let's get started.

## Step 1: Install WooCommerce and WCFM

First, make sure WooCommerce and WCFM are installed and activated. WCFM needs two plugins: **WCFM Marketplace** for the marketplace and **WCFM Frontend Manager** for the vendor dashboard.

1. In the WordPress admin menu, go to **Plugins** > **Add New Plugin**.
2. Search for **WooCommerce**.
3. Click **Install Now**, then **Activate**.

[![WooCommerce in the plugin search results, ready to install](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-wcfm-00-install-woocommerce.webp)](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-wcfm-00-install-woocommerce.webp)
WooCommerce runs the products, cart and orders that vendors sell meetings through.

Next, install WCFM.

1. Go to **Plugins** > **Add New Plugin** again.
2. Search for **WCFM Marketplace**, then click **Install Now** and **Activate**.
3. Search for **WCFM Frontend Manager**, then click **Install Now** and **Activate**.

[![WCFM in the plugin search results, ready to install](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-wcfm-00-install-wcfm.webp)](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-wcfm-00-install-wcfm.webp)
GoodMeet needs both WCFM Marketplace and WCFM Frontend Manager active.

## Step 2: Install and activate GoodMeet and GoodMeet Pro

GoodMeet creates the Google Meet links and calendar events. GoodMeet Pro adds the WCFM and WooCommerce integrations on top.

1. Go to **Plugins** > **Add New Plugin**.
2. Search for **GoodMeet**.
3. Click **Install Now**, then **Activate**.

[![GoodMeet in the plugin search results, ready to install](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-wcfm-00-install-goodmeet.webp)](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-wcfm-00-install-goodmeet.webp)
Install the free GoodMeet plugin first. GoodMeet Pro builds on it.

To use the Pro features in this guide, add GoodMeet Pro from inside GoodMeet. There is nothing to upload.

1. In WordPress admin, open **GoodMeet** and click **Upgrade**, then complete the checkout.
2. Go to **GoodMeet** > **Account**. Your license shows there, and GoodMeet offers to install GoodMeet Pro.
3. Install GoodMeet Pro, then activate it. If GoodMeet shows **Activate Pro**, click it.

**Note:** If you already have a license, open **GoodMeet** > **Account** and install Pro from there. GoodMeet shows **Download Pro** when your license is active but Pro is not installed yet.

## Step 3: Connect your Google account

GoodMeet cannot create Meet links until it can reach a Google account. By default, every vendor meeting uses this account.

1. Go to **GoodMeet** > **Settings** and click **Connect**.
2. Upload the JSON file from your Google Cloud project.
3. Click **Continue to Google**.
4. Choose your Google account and allow calendar access.

Read our [step-by-step Google setup guide](https://sovlix.com/docs/how-to-connect-google-meet-to-wordpress-with-goodmeet/) for the full walkthrough.

## Step 4: Turn on the WCFM Marketplace integration

GoodMeet adds the vendor area only while both its WCFM switch and the WCFM plugins are active. WooCommerce has its own switch too, and it powers the product link and the order email.

1. Go to **GoodMeet** > **Integrations**.
2. Check that the **WooCommerce** card reads **Active**. If not, turn its switch on.
3. Scroll to the **Marketplaces** group and find the **WCFM Marketplace** card.
4. If the card shows **Activate WCFM Marketplace**, click it to activate the plugin, then come back.
5. Turn the **WCFM Marketplace** switch on. The card then reads **Active**.

[![GoodMeet Integrations, Marketplaces group with the Dokan, WCFM Marketplace and MultiVendorX cards](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-wcfm-01-turn-on-wcfm.webp)](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-wcfm-01-turn-on-wcfm.webp)
Each marketplace has its own card. Here WCFM is installed but not active yet, so its card shows Activate WCFM Marketplace instead of a switch.

## Step 5: Decide whose Google account vendors use

One switch decides where vendor meetings land, so pick it before vendors start creating meetings. There are two modes:

- **Vendors use the site's Google account (default).** Every vendor meeting goes into the Google Calendar you connected in Step 3. Vendors do no setup.
- **Vendors use their own calendar.** Each vendor connects their own Google account from a **Configure** page. Their meetings land in their own Google Calendar.

1. Go to **GoodMeet** > **Settings** and click **Meetings**.
2. In the **Calendar** group, leave **Vendors use their own calendar** off, or turn it on.
3. Click **Save changes**.

The [MultiVendorX guide](https://sovlix.com/docs/how-to-let-multivendorx-vendors-sell-google-meet-meetings/) shows this switch with screenshots in its Step 5. Administrators always schedule with the site's account, even if they also own a store.

**Important:** With the switch on, a vendor cannot create meetings until they connect their own Google account. Tell your vendors before you turn it on.

Now comes the vendor's part. The next steps happen in the vendor's WCFM dashboard.

## Step 6: Open Google Meeting in the vendor menu

GoodMeet adds a **Google Meeting** group to the WCFM menu of every vendor, right above **Customers**.

1. The vendor signs in and opens their WCFM dashboard.
2. In the menu, they click **Google Meeting**, then **All Meetings**.
3. With **Vendors use their own calendar** on, the menu also shows **Configure**. If GoodMeet Classroom is on and the vendor can teach, **Live classes** appears too.

[![WCFM vendor menu with Google Meeting highlighted and All Meetings and Configure below it](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-wcfm-02-wcfm-vendor-menu-google-meeting.webp)](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-wcfm-02-wcfm-vendor-menu-google-meeting.webp)
Configure shows only when Vendors use their own calendar is on.

**All Meetings** opens the same meeting list and step by step form that instructors use on the front end. Vendors see and edit only their own meetings.

## Step 7: Connect the vendor's own Google account (Configure)

Skip this step if **Vendors use their own calendar** is off.

While the vendor is not connected, **All Meetings** shows a **Setup Required** card titled **Power your meetings with Google Calendar**. The card has a **Connect Google Account** button.

1. The vendor clicks **Connect Google Account**, or **Configure** in the menu.
2. They upload the OAuth JSON file of their own Google Cloud **Web application** client.
3. In Google Cloud, they add the redirect URL shown on this screen as an authorized redirect URI.
4. They click **Continue to Google**, pick their account and allow calendar access.

The redirect URL looks like this:

```
https://brightpath.example.com/?goodmeet_vendor_oauth=1
```

Your actual URL may look different. Always copy it from your own GoodMeet settings.

[![WCFM Google Meeting Configure page showing Google Cloud Credentials and Google services as Connected](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-wcfm-05-wcfm-configure-connected.webp)](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-wcfm-05-wcfm-configure-connected.webp)
The Configure page once the vendor has connected their Google account.

The steps match [How to connect your Google account to GoodMeet](https://sovlix.com/docs/how-to-connect-google-meet-to-wordpress-with-goodmeet/).

## Step 8: Create a meeting as the vendor

Each product sells a seat in one meeting, so the vendor creates the meeting first.

1. In **Google Meeting** > **All Meetings**, the vendor clicks **Add new**.
2. They fill in the steps: name, date and time, then who can join.
3. They click **Create meeting**. GoodMeet creates the Google Calendar event and the Meet link.

If the vendor sees **Connect your Google account to create this meeting.**, they have not finished Step 7.

## Step 9: Link the meeting to a product

Linking a product to a meeting is what turns a sale into a seat.

1. In WCFM, the vendor opens **Products** and adds a new product or edits one.
2. They tick **Virtual**, since a meeting has nothing to ship.
3. In the **Google Meeting** block, they tick **Select meeting as product?**.
4. In **Choose Meeting**, they pick one of their meetings.
5. They click **Submit**.

[![WCFM product manager with the Google Meeting tab open, Select meeting as product ticked and 1:1 Store Setup Consultation chosen](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-wcfm-03-wcfm-product-google-meeting-block.webp)](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-wcfm-03-wcfm-product-google-meeting-block.webp)
The Google Meeting block lists only the vendor's own meetings.

With **Select meeting as product?** ticked, WCFM requires both fields. A missing **Virtual** shows **Is virtual: This field is required.** and a missing meeting shows **Choice Meeting: This field is required.**

## Step 10: Check the result

Open the product in a private browser window to see it the way a customer does. Customers buy the meeting like any other product, and a **Meeting Details** tab lists the meeting title, start time and time zone.

GoodMeet takes over once the order goes through:

- A customer can buy one seat per meeting product.
- When the order is **Completed**, GoodMeet adds the buyer's billing email as a guest on the Google Calendar event.
- The order email includes **Your Meeting Information**, with the start time, the meeting page and a **Join Google Meet** link.

[![Product page with the Meeting Details tab open, showing the meeting date, time and host](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-wcfm-04-meeting-details-tab.webp)](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-wcfm-04-meeting-details-tab.webp)
Customers see the meeting date, time and host on the Meeting Details tab before they buy.

## Benefits of using GoodMeet with WCFM

- **A menu vendors already open:** **Google Meeting** sits in the WCFM menu, right above **Customers**.
- **Half-linked products cannot be saved:** with **Select meeting as product?** ticked, WCFM refuses to save until the product is virtual and has a meeting.
- **The link goes out with the order:** the order email carries the **Join Google Meet** link. The buyer's billing email also joins the Google Calendar event.
- **WCFM commissions as usual:** meeting products are normal WooCommerce products, so WCFM pays vendors the usual way.

## Troubleshooting

### Vendors do not see a Google Meeting menu

GoodMeet adds the menu only while the integration and both WCFM plugins are active.

Check that:

- The **WCFM Marketplace** card is on in **GoodMeet** > **Integrations**.
- WCFM Marketplace and WCFM Frontend Manager are both active.
- The user is a WCFM vendor.

### Saving a product shows "Is virtual: This field is required."

The product has **Select meeting as product?** ticked but is not virtual. Tick **Virtual** and save again.

### Saving a product shows "Choice Meeting: This field is required."

**Select meeting as product?** is ticked but no meeting is chosen. The vendor creates a meeting in **All Meetings** first if the list is empty, then picks it in **Choose Meeting**.

### Vendors see Configure but you want one shared calendar

**Vendors use their own calendar** is on.

1. Go to **GoodMeet** > **Settings** > **Meetings**.
2. In the **Calendar** group, turn **Vendors use their own calendar** off.
3. Click **Save changes**. The **Configure** item disappears and every meeting uses the site's account.

### Google sends the vendor back without connecting

The redirect URL in the vendor's Google Cloud client does not match, or the JSON file is not a **Web application** client.

Check that:

- The redirect URL was copied from the vendor's **Configure** page into Google Cloud.
- It was added under **Authorized redirect URIs**.
- The JSON file belongs to a **Web application** client.

### The customer did not get the meeting link

GoodMeet adds the buyer and sends the details only when the order status is **Completed**.

Check that:

- The order is **Completed** in **WooCommerce** > **Orders**.
- The product has **Select meeting as product?** ticked and a meeting chosen.

## Frequently asked questions

### Do I need both WCFM plugins?

**Yes.** WCFM Marketplace runs the marketplace and WCFM Frontend Manager draws the vendor dashboard where the **Google Meeting** menu lives.

### Do vendors need a Google Cloud project?

**No**, not by default. Only when **Vendors use their own calendar** is on does each vendor upload their own OAuth client file.

### Can a vendor see other vendors' meetings?

**No.** Each vendor sees and edits only the meetings they created.

### Can a customer buy two seats in one order?

**No.** A meeting product is limited to one per cart. Each attendee buys their own seat.

## Security best practices

- Turn on **Vendors use their own calendar** only if vendors need their meetings under their own name. One site account is easier to manage.
- Ask vendors to create their own Google Cloud client. Never share your site's JSON file with a vendor.
- Approve vendors before they can sell, so only trusted people create meetings that customers pay for.
- When a vendor leaves, ask them to disconnect Google from **Configure**, then remove their vendor access.
- Keep WordPress, WooCommerce, WCFM and GoodMeet up to date.

## You're ready to let WCFM vendors sell meetings

WCFM vendors can now schedule Google Meet sessions under **Google Meeting** and sell each seat as a virtual product. Next, see how the other marketplaces and WooCommerce selling work.
