# How to Let MultiVendorX Vendors Sell Google Meet Meetings

Your MultiVendorX vendors already sell products from their store dashboards. With GoodMeet, they can also sell live Google Meet sessions there, such as a one-to-one consultation. You set up the site side first, then each vendor follows a few steps of their own.

Each vendor gets a **Google Meeting** area in their own store dashboard. There they create and manage Google Meet meetings, and they can sell a seat in a meeting as a product. Running Dokan or WCFM instead? See [the Dokan guide](https://sovlix.com/docs/how-to-let-dokan-vendors-sell-google-meet-meetings/) or [the WCFM guide](https://sovlix.com/docs/how-to-let-wcfm-marketplace-vendors-sell-google-meet-meetings/).

By the end of this guide, you will have:

- WooCommerce, MultiVendorX, GoodMeet and GoodMeet Pro installed and activated
- Your Google account connected to GoodMeet
- The MultiVendorX integration turned on
- A decision on whether vendors use your Google calendar or their own
- A vendor meeting linked to a product that customers can buy
- Customers who receive the meeting details after their order is completed

**Estimated setup time:** 10 minutes. Vendors keep their store, products and orders exactly as they are.

**Important: whose Google account do vendors use?** It depends on one switch, **Vendors use their own calendar**, in **GoodMeet** > **Settings** > **Meetings** > **Calendar**.

- **Off (default):** vendors do not see any Google settings. Every vendor meeting is created with the Google account the administrator connected, and appears in that calendar.
- **On:** vendors get a **Configure** page under **Google Meeting** in their dashboard. Each vendor connects their own Google account there, and their meetings go to their own Google Calendar. Until a vendor connects, they cannot create meetings.

**Note:** Requires GoodMeet Pro. The MultiVendorX and WooCommerce integrations are Pro features.

## Before you begin

Make sure you have:

- A WordPress site, such as Brightpath Academy at brightpath.example.com
- An administrator account, such as Emily Clark's
- At least one approved vendor (the store owner of an active MultiVendorX store)
- The Google account your site's meetings should belong to
- A GoodMeet Pro license, for the Pro features in this guide

Let's get started.

## Step 1: Install WooCommerce and MultiVendorX

First, make sure WooCommerce and MultiVendorX are installed and activated. GoodMeet adds its vendor area to the MultiVendorX dashboard, and WooCommerce handles the products and orders.

1. In the WordPress admin menu, go to **Plugins** > **Add New Plugin**.
2. Search for **WooCommerce**.
3. Click **Install Now**, then **Activate**.

[![WooCommerce in the plugin search results, ready to install](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-marketplaces-00-install-woocommerce.webp)](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-marketplaces-00-install-woocommerce.webp)
WooCommerce runs the products, cart and orders that vendors sell meetings through.

Next, install MultiVendorX.

1. Go to **Plugins** > **Add New Plugin** again.
2. Search for **MultiVendorX**.
3. Click **Install Now**, then **Activate**.

[![MultiVendorX in the plugin search results, ready to install](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-marketplaces-00-install-multivendorx.webp)](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-marketplaces-00-install-multivendorx.webp)
MultiVendorX gives each vendor a store dashboard where GoodMeet adds its meeting tools.

## Step 2: Install and activate GoodMeet

GoodMeet creates the Google Meet links and calendar events. GoodMeet Pro adds the MultiVendorX and WooCommerce integrations on top.

1. Go to **Plugins** > **Add New Plugin**.
2. Search for **GoodMeet**.
3. Click **Install Now**, then **Activate**.

[![GoodMeet in the plugin search results, ready to install](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-marketplaces-00-install-goodmeet.webp)](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-marketplaces-00-install-goodmeet.webp)
Install the free GoodMeet plugin first. GoodMeet Pro builds on it.

To use the Pro features in this guide, add GoodMeet Pro from inside GoodMeet. There is nothing to upload.

1. In WordPress admin, open **GoodMeet** and click **Upgrade**, then complete the checkout.
2. Go to **GoodMeet** > **Account**. Your license shows there, and GoodMeet offers to install GoodMeet Pro.
3. Install GoodMeet Pro, then activate it. If GoodMeet shows **Activate Pro**, click it.

**Note:** If you already have a license, open **GoodMeet** > **Account** and install Pro from there. GoodMeet shows **Download Pro** when your license is active but Pro is not installed yet.

## Step 3: Connect your Google account

GoodMeet cannot create Meet links until it can reach a Google account. By default, every vendor meeting uses this account.

1. Go to **GoodMeet** > **Settings** and click **Connect**.
2. Upload the JSON file from your Google Cloud project.
3. Click **Continue to Google**.
4. Choose your Google account and allow calendar access.

Read our [step-by-step Google setup guide](https://sovlix.com/docs/how-to-connect-google-meet-to-wordpress-with-goodmeet/) for the full walkthrough.

## Step 4: Turn on the MultiVendorX integration

GoodMeet adds the vendor area only while both its switch and the MultiVendorX plugin are active. WooCommerce has its own switch too, and it powers the product link, the **Meeting Details** tab and the order email.

1. Go to **GoodMeet** > **Integrations**.
2. Check that the **WooCommerce** card reads **Active**. If not, turn its switch on.
3. Scroll to the **Marketplaces** group.
4. On the **MultiVendorX** card, turn the switch on. The card then reads **Active**.

[![GoodMeet Integrations, Marketplaces group, with the MultiVendorX switch on and highlighted](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-marketplaces-01-turn-on-multivendorx.webp)](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-marketplaces-01-turn-on-multivendorx.webp)
Each marketplace has its own switch. A card shows an install or activate link instead of a switch until that marketplace plugin is active.

## Step 5: Decide whose Google account vendors use

This one switch decides where vendor meetings land, so pick it before vendors start creating meetings. There are two modes:

- **Vendors use the site's Google account (default).** Every vendor meeting goes into the Google Calendar you connected in Step 3. Vendors do no setup.
- **Vendors use their own calendar.** Each vendor connects their own Google account from a **Configure** page. Their meetings land in their own Google Calendar, under their own name.

Administrators always schedule with the site's account, even if they also own a store.

1. Go to **GoodMeet** > **Settings** and click **Meetings**.
2. Scroll to the **Calendar** group. **Vendors use their own calendar** is the first row.
3. Hover the info icon to read what it does. When on, vendors get a **Configure** page under **Google Meeting** in their dashboard. There they link their own Google account.

[![Meetings settings with the Vendors use their own calendar row highlighted and its hint open](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-marketplaces-02-vendor-own-calendar-switch.webp)](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-marketplaces-02-vendor-own-calendar-switch.webp)
Off: every vendor meeting uses the site owner's Google account. On: vendors link their own account.

Leave the switch off to keep every meeting in one calendar. To let vendors use their own Google account:

1. Turn **Vendors use their own calendar** on.
2. Click **Save changes** in the bar at the bottom of the screen.

[![Vendors use their own calendar switched on with the Save changes button highlighted](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-marketplaces-03-save-vendor-calendar.webp)](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-marketplaces-03-save-vendor-calendar.webp)
Nothing changes until you click Save changes. Click Discard to drop the edit.

**Important:** With the switch on, a vendor cannot create meetings until they connect their own Google account. Tell your vendors before you turn it on.

## Step 6: Open Google Meeting in the vendor dashboard

From here on, the vendor does the work in their MultiVendorX store dashboard. The steps are the same for every vendor.

1. The vendor signs in and opens the store dashboard.
2. In the sidebar, they click **Google Meeting**, then **All Meetings**.
3. With **Vendors use their own calendar** on, the menu also shows **Configure**.

[![MultiVendorX store dashboard sidebar with Google Meeting highlighted and All Meetings and Configure below it](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-marketplaces-08-vendor-sidebar-google-meeting.webp)](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-marketplaces-08-vendor-sidebar-google-meeting.webp)
Configure appears under Google Meeting only when Vendors use their own calendar is on.

**All Meetings** opens the same meeting list and step-by-step form that instructors use on the front end. Vendors see and edit only their own meetings.

## Step 7: Connect the vendor's own Google account (Configure)

Skip this step if **Vendors use their own calendar** is off.

While the vendor is not connected, **All Meetings** shows a **Setup Required** card titled **Power your meetings with Google Calendar**. It lists three steps: **Go to Configure settings**, **Sign in with Google** and **Start creating meetings**.

1. The vendor clicks **Connect Google Account**. Their **Configure** page opens inside the MultiVendorX dashboard.

[![Setup Required card titled Power your meetings with Google Calendar with the Connect Google Account button highlighted](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-marketplaces-09-vendor-setup-required.webp)](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-marketplaces-09-vendor-setup-required.webp)
Vendors see this card until they connect their own Google account.

1. In the **Connect** section, the vendor uploads the OAuth JSON file of their own Google Cloud **Web application** client. The steps match [How to connect your Google account to GoodMeet](https://sovlix.com/docs/how-to-connect-google-meet-to-wordpress-with-goodmeet/).
2. In Google Cloud, the vendor adds the redirect URL shown on this screen as an authorized redirect URI.
3. They click **Continue to Google**, pick their account and allow calendar access.
4. Google sends them back to the same **Configure** page in their dashboard.

The redirect URL looks like this:

```
https://brightpath.example.com/?goodmeet_vendor_oauth=1
```

Your actual URL may look different. Always copy it from your own GoodMeet settings.

[![Vendor Configure page with the Connect section and the Google Cloud Credentials upload area highlighted](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-marketplaces-10-vendor-configure-connect.webp)](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-marketplaces-10-vendor-configure-connect.webp)
The vendor uploads their OAuth JSON file here, in their own store dashboard.

The **Configure** page also has a **Meetings** section. There the vendor sets their own **Time zone**, **Notification** reminder, **Event status**, registration and recurring defaults, then clicks **Save changes**. Calendar and meeting page options stay with the site owner.

**Security note:** GoodMeet stores each vendor's Google token on your site, under that vendor's user. The vendor's Google password is never shared with GoodMeet.

## Step 8: Create a meeting as the vendor

Each product sells a seat in one meeting, so the vendor creates the meeting first.

1. In **Google Meeting** > **All Meetings**, the vendor clicks **Add new**.
2. They fill in the steps: title, date and time, then who can join.
3. They click **Create meeting**. GoodMeet creates the Google Calendar event and the Meet link.

[![Vendor All Meetings list with the 1:1 Store Setup Consultation meeting highlighted](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-marketplaces-11-vendor-all-meetings-list.webp)](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-marketplaces-11-vendor-all-meetings-list.webp)
Vendors see only the meetings they created.

If the vendor sees **Connect your Google account to create this meeting.**, they have not finished Step 7. Vendors on the site's account see **Google Meet is not connected on this site yet. Ask the site administrator to connect it.** if your site connection is missing.

## Step 9: Link the meeting to a product

Linking a product to a meeting is what turns a sale into a seat. On MultiVendorX 5, the vendor does this in their own product editor.

1. In the store dashboard, the vendor opens **Products** and adds a new product or edits an existing one.
2. In the right column, they find the **Google Meeting** card.
3. They tick **Sell a meeting with this product**.
4. In **Meeting**, they pick one of their own meetings from **Choose a meeting**.
5. They save the product as usual.

[![Google Meeting card in the vendor product editor with Sell a meeting with this product ticked and 1:1 Store Setup Consultation chosen](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-marketplaces-12-vendor-product-google-meeting-card.webp)](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-marketplaces-12-vendor-product-google-meeting-card.webp)
The Google Meeting card sits in the right column of the MultiVendorX product editor.

The card lists only the vendor's own published meetings. Until a meeting is chosen, it shows the reminder **Choose the meeting this product sells.** Saving the product links the meeting back to it.

**Note:** On older MultiVendorX versions with the classic vendor product form, vendors see a **Google Meeting** tab instead. It has **Select meeting as product?** and **Choose Meeting**, and the product must be marked virtual.

### Link a meeting from WordPress admin

As the site owner, you can also link a vendor's meeting from WordPress admin, for example to fix a product for a vendor.

1. Go to **Products** and open the vendor's product, or click **Add new product**.
2. In **Product data**, keep **Simple product** and tick **Virtual**.
3. Click the **Google Meeting** tab.
4. Tick **Meeting product?** and pick the meeting in **Meeting**.

[![Product data with the Google Meeting tab open, Meeting product ticked and Advanced Analytics Masterclass chosen](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-marketplaces-04-admin-product-google-meeting-tab.webp)](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-marketplaces-04-admin-product-google-meeting-tab.webp)
The Meeting list shows only meetings created by the product's author. On a vendor's product, that is the vendor's own meetings.

1. Click the **Store** tab and choose the vendor's store in **Assign Store**, if it is not set yet.
2. Click **Publish** or **Update**.

[![Product data Store tab with the Assign Store field highlighted](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-marketplaces-05-admin-assign-store.webp)](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-marketplaces-05-admin-assign-store.webp)
Assign Store comes from MultiVendorX. It decides which vendor gets the sale and the commission.

## Step 10: Check the result on the product page

Open the product in a private browser window to see it the way a customer does. Customers buy the meeting like any other product, with the price and an **Add to cart** button.

[![Product page for Advanced Analytics Masterclass Ticket with price and Add to cart](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-marketplaces-06-customer-product-page.webp)](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-marketplaces-06-customer-product-page.webp)
Front-end view of a meeting product. Write the description so buyers know it is a live session.

A **Meeting Details** tab under the product lists the meeting title, start time and time zone.

[![Meeting Details tab showing the meeting title, start time and time zone](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-marketplaces-07-customer-meeting-details-tab.webp)](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-marketplaces-07-customer-meeting-details-tab.webp)
Front-end view of the Meeting Details tab. For a recurring meeting, Start Time shows the next session.

## What customers get after they buy

GoodMeet takes over once the order goes through:

- A customer can buy one seat per meeting product. A second add to cart shows **This product is already in your cart. You can only purchase one quantity because it's a meeting product.**
- When the order is **Completed**, GoodMeet adds the buyer's billing email as a guest on the Google Calendar event.
- The order email includes **Your Meeting Information**, with the start time, the meeting page and a **Join Google Meet** link.
- In **My account**, the customer finds the meeting under **Meetings**.

[![Your Meeting Information table in the completed order email](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-marketplaces-13-order-email-meeting-info.webp)](https://sovlix.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/goodmeet-marketplaces-13-order-email-meeting-info.webp)
The completed order email lists the meeting, sign-in details and the Join Google Meet link.

## Benefits of using GoodMeet with MultiVendorX

- **Linked from the product editor:** on MultiVendorX 5, vendors attach a meeting from the **Google Meeting** card in their own product editor.
- **Commission follows the store:** a meeting product is a normal WooCommerce product, and **Assign Store** decides which vendor gets the sale and the commission.
- **Vendors sell only their own meetings:** GoodMeet blocks a vendor from linking a meeting another user created.
- **One calendar or many:** keep every meeting in the site calendar, or let each vendor connect their own Google account.

## Troubleshooting

### Vendors do not see a Google Meeting menu

GoodMeet adds the menu only for approved vendors, while the integration and the marketplace plugin are both active.

Check that:

- The **MultiVendorX** card is on in **GoodMeet** > **Integrations**.
- MultiVendorX is active.
- The user is an approved MultiVendorX vendor.

### Vendors see Configure but you want one shared calendar

**Vendors use their own calendar** is on.

1. Go to **GoodMeet** > **Settings** > **Meetings**.
2. In the **Calendar** group, turn **Vendors use their own calendar** off.
3. Click **Save changes**. The **Configure** item disappears and every meeting uses the site's account.

### The vendor sees "Connect your Google account to create this meeting."

**Vendors use their own calendar** is on and the vendor has not connected Google yet. Ask the vendor to open **Configure** and finish the connection in Step 7.

### The Google Meeting card on a MultiVendorX product has no meetings

The card lists only the vendor's own published meetings. When there are none, it reads **You have no meetings yet. Create one under Google Meeting, then come back to link it.**

1. The vendor creates a meeting in **Google Meeting** > **All Meetings**.
2. They reload the product editor and pick the meeting.

### Saving a MultiVendorX product shows "You can only sell your own meetings."

GoodMeet blocks a vendor from linking a meeting another user created. The vendor needs to pick one of their own meetings, or create one first. Administrators can link any meeting.

### The Meeting list on a product in WordPress admin is empty

The list shows only meetings created by the product's author. Meetings from another user, or drafts, do not appear. Create the meeting as the vendor who owns the product, or make the vendor the product's author.

### Google sends the vendor back without connecting

The redirect URL in the vendor's Google Cloud client does not match, or the JSON file is not a **Web application** client.

Check that:

- The redirect URL was copied from the vendor's **Configure** page into Google Cloud.
- It was added under **Authorized redirect URIs**.
- The JSON file belongs to a **Web application** client.

Then click **Continue to Google** again.

### The customer did not get the meeting link

GoodMeet adds the buyer and sends the details only when the order status is **Completed**.

Check that:

- The order is **Completed** in **WooCommerce** > **Orders**.
- The product has a meeting linked: **Sell a meeting with this product** on the MultiVendorX card, or **Meeting product?** in WordPress admin.

## Frequently asked questions

### Do vendors need a Google Cloud project?

**No**, not by default. Only when **Vendors use their own calendar** is on does each vendor upload their own OAuth client file.

### Can a vendor see other vendors' meetings?

**No.** Each vendor sees and edits only the meetings they created.

### Can a vendor link a meeting to a product in MultiVendorX 5?

**Yes.** The **Google Meeting** card in the vendor's product editor lets them tick **Sell a meeting with this product** and pick one of their meetings.

### Can I run Dokan and MultiVendorX at once?

**Yes**, technically: each has its own switch. Most stores run one marketplace plugin. See [the Dokan guide](https://sovlix.com/docs/how-to-let-dokan-vendors-sell-google-meet-meetings/) and [the WCFM guide](https://sovlix.com/docs/how-to-let-wcfm-marketplace-vendors-sell-google-meet-meetings/).

### Does a vendor who is also an administrator use their own calendar?

**No.** Administrators always schedule with the site's Google account.

### Can a customer buy two seats in one order?

**No.** A meeting product is limited to one per cart. Each attendee buys their own seat.

## Security best practices

- Turn on **Vendors use their own calendar** only if vendors need their meetings under their own name. One site account is easier to manage.
- Ask vendors to create their own Google Cloud client. Never share your site's JSON file with a vendor.
- Approve vendors before they can sell, so only trusted people create meetings that customers pay for.
- When a vendor leaves, ask them to disconnect Google from **Configure**, then remove their vendor access.
- Keep WordPress, WooCommerce, MultiVendorX and GoodMeet up to date.

## You're ready to let MultiVendorX vendors sell meetings

MultiVendorX vendors can now create Google Meet meetings in their store dashboard and link each one to a product. A completed order adds the buyer to the meeting's calendar event. Next, choose how the meeting page looks and set up the accounts your vendors need.
